Hamden Hotel & Suites

This hotel is absolutely disguising. Shortly after falling asleep I woke up itching. I processed to turn the lights and and there were bedbugs coming from out the pillows and around the creases of the bed. This is the junior sweet/room 312. And FYI the whole room is infested both beds and the coach. Even if they offer you a night for $1 it's still not worth it!!!!! I only spend one night 10/25/25 and asked for a refund for the whole trip. I left the same day. Unbelievably nonchalant staff especially the Manager.

Positive: My check in was quick and efficient,The young lady that checked me in was very pleasant, smiling , not a negative vibe in the atmosphere. Her customer service was top tier, every time I visit home I am staying here very safe location. Negative: They need to reevaluate their early check in policy , also service the ice machines, other than that , my stay was exceptional

This is by far the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed. Fridge is cracked and does not work—when we tried to see if it was plugged in there were USED MASKS behind the fridge?? The floor was very dirty—like no one had swept in a long while. My dog ate something off the floor that we are going isn’t going to make him sick. The room smells like smoke despite the sign that says “no smoking”. Curtains have stains on them. TV book was hanging by a cord—TV didn’t work or turn on. It worked out for us last minute for a place to stop on an 11 hour trip, check in was easy, and they waived the pet fee. Maybe it was because they gave us a pet room in the back of the building? Manager is rude! She accused of smoking. The shower had green mold. The sink was cracked and leaked. The room door wouldn’t shut all the way. The satellite tv had to be reset several times. It smelled of old cigarette smoke and had the nerve to tell me we can’t come return. I wasn’t coming back! Paid way too much for a trap house room! The carpet was not vacuumed. The bed broken! We cleaned up after we left! The iron had plastic burned on it. The key didn’t work had to get new card keys. The breakfast was disgusting.

I was attending a wedding in Hamden, great as far as location ( for what I needed). Close to coffee, shops, grocery, resturants, and a few attractions. The rooms are not very clean, the beds are horrible. I woke up in pain each morning. The blankets were stained. The room does offer a balcony, which is always a nice feature. There were no chairs or benches on the balcony. Walls were very thin, and I could hear our neighbors. Many outlets did not work. The pool closes at 9 PM which makes no sense to me. The breakfast is okay.
