The Caribbean Resort and Villas

This was a solid stay with few small annoyances, but i would still recommend it to a friend. Like...no ice trays, pot holders, laundry detergent, sponge, or dish soap. Its got a full kitchen, but with those items missing, it's hard for it to be fully functional. I believe some of these items may have been for sale in the lobby. A couple of the dining chairs were rickety. The bedding was thin, but when we requested more blankets, they arrived in minutes. The beach access is strangely out a small side door. Kids had fun at the pool, which was heated, but they wished there was a hot tub. But our 4-bedroom was nice and exactly what our group of 7 needed. The room was very clean and practical for what we had in mind. The staff was friendly and helpful because we wanted an extra night stay and they we were able to stay in same room with fair prices. The ocean view was just beautiful from our balcony. I will definitely stay here again.

I’m a travel agent so I often stay at different resorts during my visit so that I can recommend to my clients. This was one of them.. this resort will unfortunately be added to my Do Not Recommend list. We stayed in the Jamaican Building… it gave motel vibes, I did not feel safe or comfortable. The mattresses were extremely hard. The room was very humid and looked like it had mold on the floor! The bath tub was stained! I could see the outside from the bottom of the room door!! It was nothing that I imagined… even the elevators were dirty! It was very disturbing to check-in in this big beautiful resort and then be told to walk down the street to what looked like and gave motel! Nothing about the Jamaican building gave resort!!

I just want to start out with we have gone here every year for the past 6 years and the first 4 years were amazing. The new rooms are beautiful and we love the staff and location. On the other hand the amenities were lacking to put it nicely. First off the two pools with kid attractions were drained which is really unfortunate when it says waterslide but then the one waterslide is shut down, it would be completely different if we were let know. Also nearly every pool and hot tub inside was drained or shut down. The only thing that wasn’t absolutely freezing including hot tubs was the lazy river which also wasn’t working it was just a stagnant pool. We still tried to enjoy our time but the crowd was also a little rough this time and there was a child trying to splash my young toddler in the

Positive: The staff were very nice and accommodating when we had a issue with the room. Negative: Our shower did not work. There was no hot water throughout the room. Maintenance could not fix the problem and a plumber had to be called
