The caravelle used to be our go to hotel. My husband and I got married here 17 years ago so it holds a special place to us. We decided to take our kids here to show them where we got married. What a mistake. We were in room 1010 and it was so outdated. The beds slept like hammocks. The mattress' were horrible. There was a fan outside the room a couple doors down that buzzed loudly 24/7, along with an elevator that was directly behind the room. You could hear through the walls and the family above us sounded like they wanted to do the Olympics at all hours of the night. Pounding galore, running. Throw in the fun bonus of construction on the beach directly outside our window. There was not one good night of sleep had here. When letting the front desk know, there wasn't any care in the world

Carolina Dunes is a great option for groups that want common shared space with private rooms. There are several 3 bedroom options. We loved the first floor. This building is so close to the ocean, the waves look like they are right outside through the big balcony doors. The pool area is immaculate. October was a fantastic time to come!

This place is horrible..my husband and I stayed there 11/10/25 the first room 327 in c towers we get up there the elevator felt like it would stop working at anytime. The walk way was so nasty. We get to the room it’s old and out dated. I attempted to use the bathroom the toilet would not flush. Then we noticed the refrigerator did not work and the tv did not work. We called for maintenance took him forever to come. Finally he came and stated he could not get to a main box to fix it. So they moved our room. We was moved to a room in the next building on the 7th floor. Getting off the elevator look like we was going to be snatched and tossed into the back of a white van. We get to the room we felt it was cleaner than the other room. Until we noticed several roaches. This place has a lot of

This location was very nice. They had multiple pools, hot tubs and a water park. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We definitely will stay here again very soon!

Only good thing was the view!!! First night we stayed we had bloody sheets, the water was extremely cold no matter what we did and it didn't have any pressure. I stayed in room 422 on room 4. I would not recommend it. We also couldn't lock the door or door unlock it, it was pretty sucky. The toilets did not flush correctly and the stove would not heat up. Not recommended.
