The Cadillac Motel

When we got here at first the staff was polite the place seemed to have a decent price for what they offer, which would be great if any of it was there. They advertise free wifi, which there was not the wifi only worked in the office which means you cant stream or scroll without being in the office. Their washing machines anf dryers eat money and frequently dont actually wash or dry anything. The first time we stayed we had no heat and they were supplimenting with extreemly sketchy space heaters. With these plugged in you have to be careful about using the microwave and we didnt know this it flipped a breaker. there is no one in the office after 7 so we called the emergency number it took them an hour and forty minutes to come out. My wife and I booked the honeymoon suite this past weekend. We don’t get to get away just the 2 of us so we were very excited. I can’t even begin to tell you how disappointed we were. The heart shape tub was spitting out cold water so we had to get out. There was so much noise we didn’t get any sleep , nor did we feel safe. The door looked like anyone could pick out lock so we didn’t even dare to leave our room. We left the next morning and talked to the secretary who was very sympathetic for us. The room was very clean when we checked in , however our room had a needle box in the bathroom which we found very odd. Very very disappointed in our weekend get away. I wouldn’t recommend this motel to anyone

The crazy thing is I've only been here for 3 days and Almost every review for this hotel is negative and now I know why the thing is I understand that I'm homeless but even though I'm homeless the only issues I've had at other motels are the employees being disrespectful but issues here are 10 times worse. first many motels make it so that the rooms can be cleaned in a safe way without anyone having to come in contact with anyone else but at this motel you have to clean your room yourself. even at rundown 1-star hotels I have never been somewhere where you had to clean the room yourself that is messed up especially since right now most of the people here are homeless with no place to go &they say in case of emergency to call a certain  number and they even list a back up number and neither

I really enjoyed my stay here. Everything was clean and the beds were so comfortable. The person who helped me over the phone was so extremely helpful and so kind. She sent me emails with directions in case of us checking in very late and I thought she was really helpful and very sweet. She also told me over the phone about how to get my key and what not. Everyone should know that we're in Vermont, your not going to get the Hilton unless you reserve the overpriced place. So all in all we liked it alot and would def recommend staying here.

I did not have high expectations but I tried it anyway. Sorry I did. The AC could not keep up. Be patient with the hot water. It takes a very long time to get from hot water heater to the room. Bed was not made, but rather the covers were pulled up so it wouldn't look so bad. Shampoo was not replaced when the room was attended to. Only 1 hangar. I did talk to the staff about the hot water, only one hangar, an ironing board and iron on 3 different occasions. There were very nice and very helpful. There was no dresser or any kind of drawers to put clothes in. My suggestion is to spend the extra money to stay at a nicer hotel. They do advertise wi-fi, but the staff told me it does not work most of the time. I never saw the named network.
