The Bunk House at Cross Keys

The Bunkhouse at Cross Keys is a perfect blend of western charm and modern style. Everything is exceptionally clean, quiet, and easy to access right off the highway. The rooms feel fresh and well-designed, and the large walk-in shower was a standout after a long day of travel. One of the best surprises is the shared third-floor common area — a beautiful, relaxing space with a massive fireplace that gives the whole place a warm, lodge-style atmosphere. It’s the ideal spot to unwind, read, or just enjoy the ambiance. A super comfortable stay with great design, great cleanliness, and great value. Would absolutely return.

Huge rooms, friendly but weirdly most is for show. The furniture has drawers that don't open, the same picture appears over and over throughout the hotel. It's wonderfully designed but just don't look too deeply. Also ask for a room at the back- the trucks on the highway were really very noisy. As was whoever was cleaning the restroom next door to me at 5am!! Lots of choices for breakfast but nothing really 'fresh' (which I've come to realise is the same everywhere in the US).|But overall, it's super comfortable, convenient and well equipped - just remember to get a room away from the highway.

I had to stay here with several colleagues for work and on morning one the food was cold. This place is dressed up mighty fancifully and we expected the curtains to match the drapes so to say and they don’t. Several of us mentioned the cold food and the next few mornings after bringing it up the food was still cold. Not trying to make this place look bad but expect the food to need to be warmed up in the microwave. We were all just surprised by it is all. The decor is awesome and the deck upstairs is awesome too!
