Motel 6 Madras, OR

Right off the highway. Dog friendly. And been here when I come into town more than once. Experienced great customer service. I forgot to ask the last clerks name but today we asked. Joshua was awesome in customer service and helping us get our rooms. Def well worth the stay!!

Positive: Staff lady was sweet and caring. Room was very comfortable and clean. Great nights sleep. Breakfast was fantastic. Toppings for waffles..nice touch. Negative: Breafast. Although the selection was great the hot breakfast was not refilled in peak breakfast time (7am). Staff at that time seemed distant and unphased that the breakfast area was full of people and people were asking where the hot breakfast was.

Basics there, adequate for the price. A little run down but mostly clean, except for the floor. Needed to wipe up a spill and napkin was black with dirt. Would not return.

First time in Motel 6. Room was very basic, but clean, which is important to me. Towels were in good shape, but the pillows had seen better days and the mattress was sagging on the edge. What looked to be a desk missing two legs, was balanced on the credenza and the remaining legs. We thought it was an ingenious way of repurposing. Quiet place. The only downfall were the guests who didn't pick up after their pets.

Looked clean. Did have a weird smell in the room. It smelled like a mixture of stale cigarette smoke and pot. Beds were super firm. The room and fixtures are super outdated. You can hear the people in rooms next to you very easily. Im glad we brought our white noise machine to drown them out. Has conjoined rooms if needed, thats a bonus. The hot water when showering goes from cold to hot throughout the whole shower. The next morning when we left the housekeepers were already starting to clean rooms. I noticed the broom on the cart was flipped upside down and the dirty broom bristles were touching the clean folded sheets that were going to be placed on someone's bed. 😒 I dont think that the price of the room is a good value for what you get. We paid more for this room then we do for a room
