Kah-Nee-Ta Hot Springs Resorts

Didn't have much as far as food goes, which is unfortunate bc it's the only place for miles, so I definitely recommend cooking for yourself at one of their outside grills. The soaking pools were incredible. I'd eat trail mix for two days to soak in those pools.

Went to Kah-nee-tah resort for x2 nite stay. The lodge pictured online, looks nice but not able to book. Arrived at pools and informed it's closed needing renovation. Found rooms in Madras for sleeping, unless you like a teepee. Clean soaking pools with public bathing and only a few children. Gift shop and souvenirs offerred. Indian attendants present, locker rooms clean & neat. Plastic lounge chairs uncomfortable. Lazy river small, children's pool small area, adult soaking pools with bench seating. Scenery into the resort had wild horses and hilly grasslands with plateau. 15 min ride not safe in winter months. River tubing offerred with blown up tube's rentable. Declined in October. I spent the Christmas holidays at this resort. The drive in was breathtaking, with a uniquely beautiful landscape that set high expectations for the stay. While the natural surroundings and water quality were outstanding, there were several administrative frustrations that dampened the experience. The Room & Service • Check-in Rigidity: Despite the remote location, the hotel was extremely strict about the 4:00 PM check-in time. Arriving just 10 minutes early, I was asked to wait, which felt a bit inflexible given the distance traveled. • Facility Issues: I paid extra for a room with a fireplace, only to find it wasn't working. We had a lovely, relaxing day trip. The facilities were clean, the staff were welcoming and friendly, the surroundings were beautiful and serene, and the pools felt amazing.

The renovations are amazing and so beautiful. I had a wonderful time enjoying all the pools and the views all around. Food options are fantastic, there is something for everyone. I had the grilled chicken rice bowl from the wellness menu and it was delicious
