The Building On The River

We loved our experience staying in the 2-bedroom unit here! We appreciated the location and waking up to the river view each morning and eating on the deck. We were Airbnb hosts for 5 years so look carefully at how hosts stock and manage their places and this place had the best welcome basket we've ever had with endless thoughtful attention to detail throughout. It's always a wonderful surprise when it's even better than it looks online! The owners were very attentive when we needed anything - we would definitely stay again if we are in Riggins.

The Building on the River is a fantastic place to stay! We had both apartments for the weekend and they were spotlessly clean and very thoughtfully stocked! There is a huge private deck overlooking the river with a path down to your own private beach! No issue on parking even though you are on Main Street and extremely quiet! The owner is absolutely wonderful and is quick to answer in questions or needs you have. Can't say enough good things about this place!! Already looking forward to our next trip.

We enjoyed our two nights at The Building on The River. We were concerned when we booked because it was right on the highway. We never knew the highway was there. It was nice sitting on the patio watching wildlife graze across the river. Everything had been thought of to make a person's trip comfortable. We would definitely book it again.

This place is a gem! By far one of the nicest places to stay in Riggins if you want comfort in an ideal location with amazing views right on the river. We stayed in the 2 bedroom which was quiet, comfortable and immaculate. White sheets, white bath towels, white robes (everything seemed brand new) and nicely furnished inside and out. Kitchen is fully stocked, TV and wifi worked great, everything was so clean … literally a 5 star hotel of your own. I hate to recommend because that means it will only become a popular spot that will have limited availability. The hosts have thought of everything and respond quickly to any needs or questions.

So many things to say about Building on the River! Comfortable, spacious, BEAUTIFUL, quiet, CLEAN, perfect location for EVERYTHING Riggins has to offer, and best of all…the hosts! Warm, inviting, welcoming, and so NICE! Idaho hospitality at its finest!!! Do yourself a favor when visiting Riggins…make The Building on the River your home away from home when visiting Riggins! ❤️❤️
