The Budget Inn, by Potato Ventures

We stopped here on a biking trip on the Erie Canal bike pathway. Disregard the old reviews - the motel has clearly been redone under new management and the rooms are very clean and neat. It’s not fancy and looks a bit rough on the outside but was a perfectly comfortable stay at an affordable rate. It’s a quick bike ride from the motel into town, which has some great restaurants. I’d recommend to anyone who needs a place to stay in this town!

Clean rooms, new appliances, and the bed... OMG, the best sleep I've gotten in a very long time. Friendly & helpful owners / staff and the location is wonderful. Gazing at the stars at night brings back childhood memories ✨️ It's Quiet & peaceful, even when the trains pass by it doesn't feel bothersome. Other guests are friendly too. Oh and it's dog friendly!! 🐶 It's less than a minute drive to the "city center". There's a 24 hour laundromat nearby that is pretty clean and inexpensive, thankfully. Grocery stores, bargain outlets and McDonald's are super close too. Very convenient.

I recently stayed at the Budget Inn and was pleasantly surprised by how great the experience was. For a budget-friendly hotel, it exceeded my expectations in all the right ways. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short stay. What really made the difference, though, was the management. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely cared about making sure guests felt welcome. Check-in was quick and easy, and they were happy to answer questions or offer local tips. If you’re looking for a no-frills place that’s clean, affordable, and run by people who clearly take pride in what they do, Budget Inn is a solid choice. I would definitely stay here

I was riding the Erie Canal Trail and booked a room a few weeks in advance, when I arrived the office was closed, I called the number on the door and was told they had no rooms available. This place is unreliable, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. There is a nice Airbnb across the river that was fantastic, luckily he had a room availability, otherwise I would have been sleeping on the street.

This place is amazing the people who work here are very nice i highly recommend place to anyone rooms are super clean and large size
