The Blue Boar Inn

My stay at the blue boar inn was amazing! Our room was spotless when we got there, the host was attentive and responded quickly when we needed help. The property is beautiful and has plenty of amenities to keep you busy. Would highly recommend visiting, and will definitely be back as soon as I can!! **Under new ownership** (old reviews don’t reflect new owner)

We just spent a week at the Blue Boar Retreat with 21 family members. Everyone loved it! Everyone loved kayaking, canoeing and swimming in Lake Santeelah. We all gathered around the firepit nightly to relax and make s'mores. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and offered comfort and privacy. Absolutely fantastic facility with serene surroundings, no one wanted to leave!! We are already planning next year's trip! Thank you Michelle for a wonderful family vacation!!

My review, as a FORMER EMPLOYEE of the current owner ( michelle mclish) is to mostly warn guest of the BED BUGS. Last reported case was 7/10/19 which was reported BY GUESTS ALREADY STAYING THERE. They had infested 5 outta 8 rooms. Michelle knew about the bed bugs when i started there back in April. Also, guest complaints that have NOT been resolved are, bath tubs that dont drain, roof leaks, ants, rodents, termites, wasps. All of which she has knowledge of. As an employss, she is hard tonwork for. First three months she didnt want tonpay at all. And even now she expects first class work, with very little pay. If ypu dont kiss her butt, she doesnt like you, which is why I quit. I just want to forwarn as many guest as possible.

We've been here multiple times and enjoyed it every time. Love the huge kitchen. Great for huge family get togethers. Lots of big rooms.

Feels like home.
