For. / 3 star amazing price vs quality nice patio not super clean but the birds made a mess in very short time. Room very clean Nice breakfast served in room. Like a private picnic Very confortable bed and nice soap and shampoo brand in the room

This is our second trip to Calistoga and our second stay at Bergson. We really like the location and the rooms are nice, we stayed in 103.. we had road noise in the early morning, and could hear our neighbors next to us. Recommend our next stay to be in a room further from road . We love the morning breakfast , especially the morning oats. We miss the glass mason jars ; as we like to eat the oats hot and it’s not possible to heat in the plastic cup. We had to ask for extra glass ware.

It seems attractive online, at a fair non-weekend price for Napa Valley. The morning light breakfasts were delicious and well done. BUT it is right on Highway 29- road noise issues. Calistoga downtown is dying (dead?). The rooms don't have curtains or blinds- just cheap shutters, with LED or vapor lights just outside the windows- so its like trying to sleep in daylight, and there are small gaps where others walking by could see through. Not good. We took extra sheets and hung them from the top of the shutters, which helped a bit. They had continuous administrative problems- making a multitude of emails and phone calls to confirm our 2 night stay- a remarkable nuisance. When asked about it- the response was that they were "changing systems"- and thus making their problems their guests probl

We came to Calistoga at the start of the Winter Wine Pass, and we stayed at the Bergson. Wow, what a lovely, tranquil place. The room was fabulous - very spacious, with a gorgeous fireplace and a lovely balcony that looked out over the fountain. Their reception area is small, so their continental breakfasts were delivered to your room in a charming little basket at the time you requested. We tried almost all of the continental breakfast options while we were there, and they were all delicious. There are several tables and chairs outside, so in the spring and summer, it would be great to enjoy a leisurely breakfast outside. I always have a great time at the Bergson. The front desk staff are welcoming and kind. The beds are little bit firmer than I like but much softer than the stiff beds that the chain hotels use. If you can't sleep on the extra hard mattresses like I can't, you'll be fine here. They deliver free breakfast to you in the morning if you fill out their form. The only thing they charge for is the coffee, but they have some free coffee in the front check-in area. I do like to pamper myself and order the coffee anyway. The rooms are large, and both times I've been here I get the Jacuzzi tubs, which work great.
