Aurora Park Cottages

We do not prefer a hotel setting when we can avoid it, and Aurora Park Cottages provided us the cozy cottage stay we hoped for with the cleanliness and amenity standard you want. They provide breakfast to your cottage and have wine offerings on hand for purchase. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. We will definitely be staying again if we come back to the area.

After living in Napa for 20 years, and visiting Napa my whole life, I was thrilled to find a new favorite with Aurora Park Cottages! This is a small, charming, warm, comfy collection of cottages just north of downtown Calistoga. I was impressed by all the thoughtful amenities the room provided including a kettle, microwave, freezer (in the mini fridge), cookies and a welcome note. Each cottage has its own private deck and each morning you are delivered a beautiful breakfast (I saw it as I left each morning for work assignments and sadly I didn't get to try it!). If you prefer quaint, locally run small inn properties as opposed a big box brand hotel, this is the the spot. I can't wait to return... and try that breakfast!

It was one of the best B&B experiences. The innkeeper and staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of, with a personal touch; amenities and provisions went above and beyond, well exceeding expectations (e.g. the number of glasses, a water kettle, abundant half & half, REAL coffee). Loved the furnishings, well maintained, with a rustic sensibility (e.g. coat hanger on the wall was lovely AND practical). We loved being in the end unit, a bit of seclusion, really enjoyed the peace and quiet yet being conveniently close to the downtown area. Excellent experience and great value.

Cottage was perfect for the two of us celebrating our anniversary. Complimentary breakfast delivered to the door at exactly 8:30 every morning was a nice touch. Cottage was clean and parking space was right in front of the cottage. Very easy to drive downtown Calistoga or to the many wineries in the area. We were in cottage #1 so did hear more road noise than we would like but with the fan on it helped minimize it. Coffee pot, small fridge, cutting board and wine glasses all came in handy while there. Would definitely stay there again.

There are six cottages set among the oak trees on the hillside. We have the Ada Cottage which is very Charming, Tastefully decorated. The staff helpful and friendly. Access to the handicapped Cottage was difficult because the winding walkway with dirt and Pebbles. The bed was all right however it is working on making a divot on each side. The little town of Calistoga is very Charming and a nice place to stay
