The Benninghofen House

I just attended a weekend women’s wellness retreat at Benninghofen house and it was everything I needed for my mind, body & soul - yoga, smoothies, delicious home-cooked meals, vision boards, hot tub, massage, relaxing and a whole lot of gratitude, all in a beautiful historic home. Bekki and Michael are fabulous - so warm and inviting, and just lovely people. I met some wonderful women who were also on the retreat - all so kind, with such interesting stories to share. I highly recommend checking out a weekend retreat at Benninghofen - with a best friend (as I did), a sister, mom or just by yourself! You will not regret it. I will definitely be back. ❤️

I came to Benninghofen House for an Amazing Junque Journal Art Retreat. Bekki and Michael were amazing hosts! The accommodations are stylish, comfortable, and impeccably cared for. I had ease in extending my stay before and after the retreat days. Bekki was a wonderful communicator with all the details needed from booking, checking in, and throughout my entire vacation. All wants and needs were fulfilled. Michael was an all-star chef, making delicious wholesome meals throughout the retreat. A special treat was wood fired pizza made in the beautiful backyard kitchen. Bekki provided a gentle yoga practice to start our retreat workshop days. If I lived in Hamilton I would book her classes every week! The Benninghofen ( is an Airbnb) and an experience you will never forget. Loved the painting retreat I attended. The home built in 1892, has quite an interesting ancestral background. The house is most charming and is kept very clean. The owners have thought of everything, to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The owner is quite the chef and each meal was amazing. Their gracious hospitality, includes bringing your luggage’s right up to your room. The hosts are such pleasant people. Hamilton, Ohio is a good size and offers many places to eat, and an array of antique stores.

We really had a lovely time at the Benninghoffen art retreat. The home is amazing and Bekki made us so comfortable! The food was outstanding (Thanks Michael) and we plan to come back soon! Elizabeth was our watercolor instructor and she so inspired us to stay with our art journey and not be fearful of putting paint on the paper, where wonderful things can happen! Thanks to all!

This was an excellent weekend!! The accommodations were AWESOME..the food was AWESOME. The house/home is so beautiful ❤️ loved it so much going back in July.... Bekki and Michael who own the home are exceptional hosts and our art teacher was also exceptional. Best weekend ever. Book your retreat NOW!
