The rooms smelled like cat pee (especially in the bathroom, but it was present all over the room) and the lobby, elevators, stairwell, etc all smelled like old weed. When I called to ask about the pee smell, they tried to blame my service dog (he’s an actual service dog licensed through the VA, not an ESA). So whatever, I was only there one night. However, the walls are paper thin and I was woken at 1:30am by people talking/shouting in the hallway, when I poked my head out the door to investigate, I saw it was an employee and some other guests who looked like they were drunk coming back from a wedding. For $180+ a night, the pillows are almost rock hard, they’re fake fluffy and are hard to sleep on and that goes the same for the king mattress with queen pillows, the shower faucet is worse than any shower I’ve ever used, no exaggeration, I’ve had better water faucets in my great aunts shower, the ac unit was falling apart and for almost 200$ a night with barely any rooms booked for the night we couldn’t even get a river view… nor were we aloud to use cash at any point, or tap, OR CHIP only swipe, and to ad on there was. 20 dollar instance fee that was mentions nowhere on the booking …..We just paid almost 200 dollars with taxes for 12 hours and couldn’t even use Hulu or Netflix????? Deplorable, do better Marriott. And on top of all other things breakfast isn’t even complimentary… For TWO

I recently got married and my now husband and I, along with most of the wedding party, stayed there. The hotel was clean and the staff was really nice. They were willing to answer any questions and help where they can. We also had our reception there. The food was amazing, the room was beautiful and more importantly, the staff members were very kind, courteous and attentive from the beginning to the end. My husband's grandpa (Who was in the hospital) started declining during the reception. His family was very upset so we took some time away from the event to be with his family but our DJ, photographers and the event staff kept things running smoothly for those still enjoying the reception. When I checked in, I was informed—only ten minutes before shutoff—that the hot water would not be working for the night. No accommodations were offered. I planned to leave the next morning, but unfortunately the issues continued. My room was not cleaned, and when I called the front desk for towels, none were delivered. I eventually had to switch rooms because of a strong gasoline smell. To make matters worse, an alarm in the room next door has been beeping all morning. I attempted to email the manager, but my message bounced back as undeliverable. Posting this review is the only way I’ve been able to get Renee’s attention. My loyalty to Marriott is what caused me to book this room, i'd recommend Butler County or Cincinnati for others.

I stayed at the hotel on Saturday evening and was there for a wedding ceremony and reception (I was in the bridal party), and I'm honestly not sure where to begin. First and foremost, the gentleman who worked the front desk Friday evening and Saturday during the morning was incredible; kind, professional, caring, attentive, timely. The service from this man alone deserves 5 stars, as does the room quality and cleanliness, etc. Everything else, I don't know where to begin so I'll highlight the significant issues. I want to highlight that I've worked weddings for many years and attempted to justify possible issues (short/new staffing, bad weather, other events taking place and pulling staff, etc.) so when expressing my concerns, it's difficult for me to identify them because I understand t
