The Beacon Bed and Breakfast

My family had a wonderful stay! Our first time staying at a true B&B and it was such a warm welcoming experience. Our bed was so comfortable and we had plenty of space for our family of 4 in the Jenny Room. The farm was peaceful and calm and my kids loved the donkeys. We are big coffee people and their coffee in the morning paired with the big warm fireplace was such a great way to start the morning. Felt like a true home away from home and we can’t wait to go back.

Awesome bed and breakfast with very nice rooms, like new. Food was awesome and the 5PM happy hour was so nice sitting in the living room with fireplace going. Such wonderful ambiance. The best part was the host Catherine. So kind, knowledgeable and such a pleasure to converse with that we sometimes talked to her probably too long keeping her from other duties. Nice area on the lake with friendly donkeys and other animals. We stayed at the coop room and we will be back.

We got married here in October 2025. It was the most amazing experience. Accommodations, communication, food and everything else was just wonderful. We’ll be back. Highly recommend for any weekend getaway or your most special day! The staff are truly wonderful.

We've been sneaking away to this beautiful get away for 6 years now. This is our absolute favorite home away from home. Always clean, always comfortable and always relaxing. Happy hour treats and breakfast are both delicious. The hostesses are the icing on the cake. We absolutely love The Beacon Bed and Breakfast and look forward to our next return!
