Basecamp RV Park Hartwell

Stayed here Dec 19-21. Park is clean and quiet. My family and I have camped for 15 years at multiple locations in multiple States. My camper is 36ft long and never had issues with hookups before. I was completely agitated by the distance between the water and sewer hookups. I had to leave and go buy another water hose to reach the water connection. I have never seen this setup before and don’t understand it. Would have gave 4 or 5 stars other than that.

Absolutely LOVE it here! Everything is so peaceful and so easy! It's so comfortable. The people there are so wonderful, the location is perfect, not far from anywhere you need to go buy far out enough that you aren't right in town. Every space has there own needed privacy. We loved the fire pit and picnic table area. We made a fire every night! The skies at night are exceptional! We love it! Thank you!

We are staying here for a little while. New clean, the owner is filling the road areas. No amenities except, wood to buy, trash bin, and a doggie park.

We live about 8 miles from the campground and when we lost power due to the big storm last week, we were so lucky to find this campground! All the sites are large and level. There is very nice new landscaping that will be beautiful once the trees and shrubs mature. Plenty of space between sites and each hookup box has a light on top that gives sufficient light when walking my dogs at night. The Wi-Fi worked great. The owner was easy to contact for any questions we had. The large dog park is very nice. My only suggestion would be to add a gravel path to the dog park. We highly recommend this campground!

Great campground! Really close to the Gum Branch Tournament fishing ramp. Huge spots with room for the truck and boat next to my three slider fully extended. The park is well maintained and enjoyed that they offered free wifi. We will definitely be back!
