The Beach Club at Montego Inn

This is definitely a hidden gem, I found the listing on Airbnb and i would recommend this 100% to anyone looking to visit the beachfront on a budget. The rooms are super fairly priced and were exceptionally clean, the bed was comfortable and the fridge was spotless. Shower was great with nice water pressure. It has amazing beach access and nice tucked away parking. Only thing is the only two outlets were in the kitchen and bathroom, so plan accordingly. I loved my stay so much that i didn’t feel the need to be on my phone anyway LOL! I would come back 100 times.

We had such a wonderful time staying at The Beach Club. The access to the beach is so great. In a minute, your toes are in the sand! We were there early November so the beach felt like our own personal beach. I only wish we could have stayed for a week! I would definitely go back!

The positive aspect of this site is that the beach was literally steps away with no crossing of roads. The parking lot was also on site and not across the road like a lot of places at Myrtle Beach. The negatives..... The room was dirty. In less than a couple of hours, the bottoms of our feet were black. There was sand on the floor. The bathroom had hair on the floors and in the shower. It would take a lot for me to stay here again. We did not check in the first day as I have a week's timeshare at a time. Because of this, they assumed we were not coming and had repaired a piece of wall. There is not a soul on site if you arrive after 5pm so we got our paper from a general box outside of the check-in site with our room key and parking pass. My wife and I enjoyed a great long weekend, we initially booked a side room with no beach view mistakenly but were not upset about it. After clarifying with the staff on the phone, they told me they'd keep an eye out on if they could move us to a better room with a view but couldn't make any promises. When we arrived, we were given a room with a great view and perfectly comfortable enough for the 2 of us. The kitchen was well stocked with clean dishes and cooking utensils, the bed was comfortable, the TV was high quality, and the AC kept us cool. The location is great, close enough to everything you need from myrtle beach without feeling overly crowded or near any dangerous parts of town. Small grocery store right across the street. We'll definitely be back!
