The Bayshore Hotel at Magnolia Beach

We arrived for our 3pm check-in and couldn't get access to our rooms due to issues with the Airbnb website. Finally by 5pm we received our codes only to walk into rooms that hadn't been cleaned by the previous guests. There were dead German roaches under the kitchen sink, leftover food in one refrigerator and a toilet that would barely flush. Not to mention one of the beds smelled badly of urine.

Room was great. Other wise the most over rated property in its ads. Most Unorganized check in I have ever seen. No one on property to check in had to use emails back to rental agency to get someone to help and us. No one to. Check us out. Packed up and left. Terrible terrible terrible . Next door to a trashy old rv park.

Honestly I loved staying here, I always have a fond spot for going back. It is definitely not like staying at a hotel anywhere else, very disorganized, but with a rustic charm. I would go back a bunch of times and took a ton of photos, but never save them properly. There's the beach kind of nearby.

During our stay, there were bugs everywhere and a foul odor in the room upon entering. The pier that we were told we could use we actually could not use. To add insult to injury, when I wrote an email I never got a response. The pictures are decieving wish I had a photo of all the bugs so I could post that. This was supposed to be a vacation and was supposed to be relaxing hard to relax in a place that's infested.

Shela, accommodated us very well at the last minute. Our room was perfect & comfortable. The room was well equipped & clean. We enjoyed our stay 100%. Great fishing right out the door! You could book here anytime and you won’t be disappointed.
