Customer Reviews
The beach was so clean and pretty with plenty of amenities and very few people. Even though there were around 10 of us there, there was still a beach security patrol so it felt safe even using the public restrooms there as well.
I heard of this beach when I was looking for an investment property. I grew more and more curious and finally my husband and I drove out in January. The beach is not large and it's made up of sand and tiny sea shells so I recommend wearing shoes for both swimming and walking on the beach. There are plenty of fishing piers so if you like to fish, you're going to like it here but the beach also has a swimming section and that's where all of the campers and RV's were at. Honestly it felt like a private beach. There were no huge crowds to have to deal with, but then again it's January so that's probably the reason, but it felt very peaceful and calm. There is no fee to enter, no fee to park, and you can stay on the beach for up to two weeks at no cost to you. For us it was the perfect shot o
The best quiet little beach town you can find.
This was our first time at Magnolia Beach. And our first time boondocking. We never wanted to leave! It was wonderful, not too full but for us, the water was too cold. We plan to go back soon. There was a dump station with potable water close, which was nice. There were some campers dumping Grey water on the sand, which is gross. There did not seem to be any rangers to keep people from doing this, and the smell was awful. Otherwise, the water was clean and the beaches were great. Loved it!
This a great boondocking destination. Free and very clean. We have been here a few times stayed 3 nights at the most you can run your generator easily when needed. Of course can be crowded on the weekends but have really nice close camping next to the ocean. Town not very far away small burger joint near the beach and a store a mile away.
