The Asbury Hotel

We used the Hall at the Asbury Hotel for my husband’s 60th birthday party. My primary contact, Ali, was great at walking me through this whole process. This was probably the biggest event I ever planned and I had less than two months to pull it off. But we felt that we were in very capable hands from day one! Kim, the banquet manager was there ALL DAY for everything we needed! I couldn’t believe she was still there when the party was going on…that was a long day for her! And everything was perfect! The banquet captains, Katie and Olga, and the rest of the staff…omg the food, drinks and service were all outstanding (like…the food was REALLY good!!!). They had great suggestions on the lighting. Stayed in the one of a kind Bruce suite! Amazing! If you are a Bruce fan, this is a must! The hotel itself has a very cool vibe and was immaculate. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Max, in particular, made us feel so welcome and took great care of us. Location is perfect and we enjoyed awesome live music in the lobby after dinner. Will definitely be back!

Great Staff, But The Asbury is Losing Its Soul I had an "okay" stay, but as a long-time fan of this property, I’m seeing some concerning shifts. The Highlights: The stay was anchored by the excellent service at the concierge desk and the lobby bar. The staff were professional and welcoming, and the room itself was great—clean, comfortable, and well-designed. The Critique: However, for a "premium" destination, the product needs to be flawless, and right now, the details are slipping. Our in-room record player was dead, and the pool table is on its last legs and desperately needs a repair. The lobby bar is also starting to feel outdated; between the giant glassware fridge and the service mats, it feels more like a storage area than a high-end lounge. We had an amazing stay at the Asbury Hotel this weekend! Every single member of the staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel like we were at home, not at a hotel. We brought our puppy, Cali, along and she was treated like a celebrity. Could not recommend this hotel enough, we will definitely be back!
