The Alfond Inn

I booked two rooms at the Alfond 10 months in advance to get ready for my wedding. I had heard good things and it was within walking distance of the venue. Unfortunately it turned out to be a terrible experience and made for an extremely stressful wedding day experience. First, they had a “system error” and the massages my friend had scheduled the day before, 6-8 months in advance, were no longer available because the massage therapist had quit and they never bothered to reschedule anyone. Then when I checked in they had down graded my room for no reason, other than another “system error”. The manager on site gave us two free drink tickets, as if this would remedy the fact that I now did not have the room I paid for that would accommodate 3 stylists and 10 people getting hair and make up d

Hannah at the spa cafe will restore your faith in professionalism, warmth, true hospitality. She is a positive, genuine person. After our 1st visit to the lovely spa to celebrate my birthday, we headed to the beautiful spa pool for lunch, only to learn no menu due to a small electrical kitchen fire . She gave us food options, great conversation. We had a fab, fresh sandwich and a martini in the sunshine! A pistachio cookie for my birthday was a sweet ending. We will be back and we will ask for Hannah! You should too!

Wonderful surprise. Had a premium two queen room and it was cozy and beautiful. Great hotel, nice art, nice area. The Hamilton hotel restaurant was good but pricey (and the chef blew it by dropping a few rock hard gnocchi, "probably industrial" according to my Italian partner, into her otherwise tasty squash soup). Go to nearby Jala for dinner, but if you are anywhere near Orlando, stay at the Alfond. First class.

My stay at The Alfond Inn in Winter Park was absolutely lovely. The property is beautiful, serene, and impeccably maintained, with a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. The service and attentiveness of the staff were truly exceptional and made the experience feel effortless from start to finish. As a thoughtful birthday gesture, I was graciously offered a complimentary upgrade to a room with a balcony, which added a special and memorable touch to my stay. Every detail reflected care, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. I highly recommend The Alfond Inn and look forward to returning.

While our room was spacious and clean, and the balcony was wonderful, there were several details that appeared to be overlooked during our stay. We were provided with only two coffee cups and four coffee pods, and these were not refreshed or cleaned until I specifically requested it. In addition, we were not informed that housekeeping services would occur every other day, which resulted in our needing to call for fresh towels.||||We were also told that food and beverage service would be available at the pool; however, on multiple occasions no staff member was present. On the day that service was available—particularly with James assisting—the experience was excellent and demonstrated the level of service we had been expecting.
