Texas Inn & Suites Pharr/San Juan

Great value. We are always greeted with a friendly smile. Clean rooms. Reasonable prices. TVs don't always work, but we are there to watch TV anyway. Quiet. Lots of parking. Nice pool and bbq area. There is plenty of fast food nearby. Always have an available room. Highly recommended

Loved it! Staff was so friendly. Clean, appears to be updated, great rates cannot ask for more. No complaints. I run hotels as well and know how reviews can be so I do not usually pay attention to them unless it's under a 3 star. I originally booked with Travelodge but after I called them and they answered "hello" and were very rude on the phone I then read reviews and decided to look else where. Definitely glad I did. Great job on the cleanliness. I came in and striped the room (hospitality career will do this to you) and it passed the test, I could not find anything. I will definitely be back.

Great place to stay the kids love the outdoor swimming pool. Love that they have the option of doing laundry

The front desk was superbly welcoming which was completely appreciated! She even requested that I look at the room before I truly committed to the reservation. This hotel is in walking distance of restaurants and a large chain grocery store. The room was immaculate, linens were spotless....I love the tile floors instead of old carpeting! I booked a jacuzzi room and the tub leaked slightly...also there was no coffee in the room or breakfast to be had. However, if quiet and a comfortable place to stay is what you're looking for this is the best place!

Hair in the tub so I didn't use it, there was a stain in the refrigerator as well. We purchased a king bed but the toilet wasn't working so we got placed in a 2 twin bed room. We didn't get a discount either since we booked the hotel the same day. Oh well. But those are my only complaints.... Overall, my husband and I thought it was nice and we had a good time. Nice looking room. The bed was comfortable. Affordable place compared to others. We Felt safe in our stay which is my main concern at all times when staying at a hotel. We cleaned after ourselves before leaving as a thank you for the cleaning ladies so they don't have to work too hard. Everyone should clean up after themselves in my opinion. I would consider staying here again.
