Texan Inn

Needed a place to stay last-minute while on a road trip. The staff was incredibly accommodating and kind. The room was clean, comfortable, and affordable.

stayed here for 2months while working in the area, after checking out some of the other hotels in the area I chose this one. the price was good the entire staff was friendly and helpful. run by a nice couple that is really concerned about the needs and concerns of their guest. the room was nice & quiet, comfortable beds, good water pressure in the shower, being in an outer smoking room the internet was not as strong as the non-smoking rooms but was adaquite for my needs. breakfast was well presented with the same as the higher priced hotels. I would highly recommend staying here unless you just need to spend extra money.

We drove past this place twice before stopping. The lady who checked me in was friendly and delightful. The mattresses and linens were brand new. The sink/closet area with a microwave and refrigerator was roomy. The bath has been partially remodeled. The ceramic TP holder is in an awkward spot as is the towel rack. Plenty of hot water. Carpet was old, but clean. The ceiling fan helped move the cooled air through the room. Only downside was lighting was poor and no outlet to plug in the desk lamp. Needs more electrical outlets or phone chargers (but I didn't check the TV). Will stay here again.

Checked in super early morning and lady was so kind and understanding. Allowed us a late checkout because of early morning arrival which was greatly appreciated. Room was in need of some cosmetic repairs but most importantly, was very clean so thats all that mattered.

Stayed here 3/15/17 , I was tired and desperate as most all decent hotels were full. The office area is well for a first impression just plain dirty. Should have left but just wanted to sleep. Room was total $70.00. Room was discusting, smelled weird. The TV an 80's model didn't work, most wall plugs no power.the mattress was borderline uninhabitable and carpet so bad I wouldn't take my shoes off. Bathroom looked worse than a prison bathroom. I should have demanded my money back but I just wanted to sleep. Slept in my clothes. Note to owners: Cleanup your rooms, elbow grease and minor repairs don't cost much. You should be ashamed to be advertising your motel as" vacancy available", you should have a disclaimer warning people to stay at your own risk.
