Comfort Suites Fort Stockton

The room was similar to those in other hotels I’ve stayed at. I got a fairly nice room overall; however, the bathroom had some dirty stains and leftover shampoo in the bathtub, and the showerhead wasn’t as powerful as I would have liked. 🥲 The breakfast area was nice. There were designated smoking areas, which I personally dislike seeing. 🚭❓

Our stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. However, the major downside was that the bathroom toilet would not flush. When we reported the issue to the housekeeping staff, we were offered a plunger to handle the problem ourselves. The restroom had been nonfunctional since we arrived, and as a family of four including two children, we had to use the restroom in the lobby throughout our stay.

If you work nights good luck getting rest at this place. The housekeeping staff is noisy while walking down the hallways. They have music blaring from their phones (haven't discovered earphones) or they are having phone conversations with the speaker on (haven't discovered headset feature). Plus, the attached photographs demonstrate the room window and door. Look at all that light coming through the windows. You are unable to close the outer curtains since they are for decoration. The pic of the door shows the amount of light that comes underneath it. Don't bother bringing up any of this to the front desk staff in the morning. They have an old snake working the front desk in the morning.

No major tv channels which should have been disclosed prior to check in! Sheets are worn out! No elastic on fitted sheet so it wouldn’t stay on the mattress.

The accommodations for my great granddaughter were unacceptable. I was told there would be a crib ready for her. There wasn’t. My grandson had to get the bed cart it upstairs and set it up. He discovered a broken metal part on the bed and requested a different one. One was brought to his room, but he had to set it up. He asked for a crib sheet and was told they didn’t have any. He was given a regular sheet which he felt was a suffocation hazard. He asked for a blanket and was told they didn’t have any. He had to make do with their personal items they had with them. However, the breakfast was delicious.
