Tamiami Village & RV Park

First time visitor and last time visitor. RV spots are tiny. We are back to back with the site behind us. This means walking around the RV multiple times to hook up utilities because we can't walk behind the rv. We just fit length wise on the site. I would suggest booking a site longer than you need. Our RV is literally on the edge of the road. Have yet to check out the rest of the park. Hoping it gets better!

This is a nice 55+ RV resort located just off Cleveland Street (AKA Tamiami Trail). That road is busy during the winter season, but the park is set back far enough that road noise was not an issue. We stayed in the park for 10 days, and received a discount for a week's stay and Good Sam membership. The park is a mix of seasonal and transient lots. Shopping of every nature is close by. The bathrooms and showers were newer, spacious, and kept immaculately clean. The laundry had multiple washers and dryers, for good reason--they were often busy. The pool was very nice and quiet. We enjoyed the free ice available at the bathhouse and the daily trash pick-up. The office was closed when we checked in (Tuesday 1 PM), but there was a note on the door with our campsite number. Park is hot, no shade trees. Swimming pool closes at dark. No picnic area, all activities are charged fees.

I have a mobile home there and I like it. I'm not sure how the RV park is set up for service

This is an RV Park with designated common areas and busy schedule of activities. Next door is mobile home comminuted with different facilities and schedules. They share only an entrance. Very clean, well taken care of grounds and facilities. Friendly staff.
