Easy check-in, clean room with comfy pillows. The pool was lovely and well maintained. It’s so close to the boardwalk, you can’t do better! I stored my e-bike in my car behind the hotel and it was still there in the morning, which is a huge plus! For breakfast I walked a few blocks away to Hooked on Breakfast which was excellent.

Was terrified by the reviews when I first got here, but this place is fine. If you are looking for a place to sleep after spending all day at the beach/boardwalk/pool, this is it. We got there early they gave us the parking pass and let us go to the pool while we wait. Pool is small, but works. Our room was ready at 3:30pm as promised. Room itself didn’t have a weird smell, no stains, was completely fine. It’s extremely outdated but it’s got what you need. You are directly next to the boardwalk so couldn’t beat a better location. Most rentals in OCNJ are 4k a week…. $250 night at a half decent safe motel works… especially if you just need a place to shower and sleep. If I was staying a lot longer with a bigger family I would look elsewhere. But a long weekend with my boyfriend, this place

The Tahiti Inn was previously family owned. Recently taken over by Eclat Investors Corporation. 801 Asbury Ave. Suite 601 Ocean City NJ. We have rented an apartment there for the past 13 years. Our recent September 2025 stay was a huge disappointment! This corporation decided to falsely advertise the Tahiti Inn under Oceans Edge Luxury Apartments. They increased their prices from $200 a night to $500 a night. They described and showed inaccurately renovations and amenities.|The Trip Advisor 2025 Consumer Complaint Reviews are 100% accurate. The removal of all bureaus, TVs not working, no poles to hang clothes, lack of maintenance and cleaning staff, no storage space for clothes, limited to no kitchen utensils and supplies, no toilet paper holder, no broom and pan, no living room chairs, e

Moldy ceiling, no toilet paper, paper thin pillows, no maid service to the room. If this sounds like your ideal hotel, The Tahiti Inn is for you.|This hotel has absolutely no right to charge what they do for a night.|While it is conveniently located right off of the boardwalk, the service and lack of cleanly rooms outweighs the convenience.|We booked a double bed room for 2 nights totaling nearly $700. The stay did not include beach tags, which every other hotel we have stayed at in OCNJ did include the beach tags during your stay.|Let's talk about the biggest issue with this room- lack of cleaning service, specifically to the bathroom. Beware. Booked this spot last-minute for a beach getaway with my toddler and MIL. It wasn’t mortifying like some of the recent reviews (no horror-movie-level surprises), but it also wasn’t pleasant. It was basically the definition of overpriced mediocrity. Check-in was fine. The two staff up front weren’t exactly radiating joy, but they were functional, and functional works. Our ground-floor double-bed room was tiny. Everything was outdated, beat-up, and rusty, some paint peeling at corners, though at least the bathroom wasn’t scary (no mold sightings!) Bonus points for no carpet (less chance of mystery stains). It wasn’t spotless, but it had been cleaned enough and we brought our cleaning supplies and did an additional wipe down . Beds were… okay.
