Surfcomber Motel

Friendly employees! The room with a little kitchenette was perfect for what we needed and the kids enjoyed their time in the pool. Great location and walking distance to the boardwalk/beach and all the shops and entertainment near by. Would definitely come back for another trip.

Have stayed here each of the last 9 summers. Never had an issue. The staff is great. Michael is all class and his staff reflects it. They are very accompanying and the rooms are always clean. The pool is also always clean. Great location, great price, easy parking. Highly recommend.

They can't be trusted. I booked a room for 3 nights and while the booking allowed changes up to 2 weeks prior to staying when I wanted to reduce the stay to 2 nights more than 2 weeks prior they refused to change anything and I was charged for the stay. Luckily, I have screen shots of everything and am disputing the charge.

Booked in advance, paid a deposit, and traveled from Atlanta--only to arrive and be told they'd double-booked and had no room for us. This was during two major conventions, leaving us scrambling and forced to pay triple for another MOTEL. Zero accountability, zero professionalism. They'll happily take your money and leave you stranded without apologies! Also when I asked to speak to the owner who had booked our reservation I got denied and never was even called back.

I am not one to write reviews but I had to for our stay here. The rooms and location were perfect. We were within walking distance to everything! My favorite part was the woman who worked the front desk. I thought we were going to be past check in time and when I called she said don’t worry about it and to call her at 9 to give her an ETA so she could give us our key. One day we left our key in the door and she took it and called me. We do a lot of traveling/eating out and it’s not often we come across such great hospitality. She truly is a wonderful person and the place is lucky to have such a dedicated employee. We will be back for sure!
