SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Tarboro

What a dump. on our way to the room the ceiling in the hallway was falling down due to water damage and it was not recent. our room was 103 the floor was all lose and sticky. The bathroom door was missing the bottom part of the door. The lamp was rusty and falling over I had to lean it against the wall to hold it up. The drapes were falling off the track I had to stand on the all ready broken A/C unit to fix them so we could close them. If I wasn't exhausted from our 10 hr drive I would have left.

I checked in on Thursday August 1, 2024 and checked out on August 4,2024. I realized on Friday night. I didn’t receive any room service that day. That night I called the front desk and requested room service for the following day Saturday. The next morning which was Saturday I stopped by the front desk on my way out. The manager/owner confirmed that my room was on the list for room service. |I came back during the afternoon and took a nap. Later that evening I went out and asked the front desk worker about my room service. ||She looked at the list and she said it has my room receiving room service that day. |I told her that was false. I invited her to my room to see the condition of my room. She said she would get me clean towels. When I returned later Saturday night, I noticed the worker

We usually stay here even visiting family in Tarboro. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful. The location is good. The facilities themselves are pretty dated but generally feel clean. Out of the limited options in Tarboro, this is the best for the price.

This hotel was a very nice location to relax and unwind. The staff were super friendly and warm, the pool was very relaxing, breakfast was warm and delicious. I loved there orange juice and muffins!! If you wake up early enough you can see deer in the field next to the hotel. I saw them both mornings I stayed here and at night also. A beautiful sight to watch for morning people. This place was a very nice stay away, a much needed vacation. Definitely come stay here if you get the opportunity!
