SureStay Plus by Best Western The Villages

This is really a nice hotel. All the staff is so amazingly wonderful. And the grounds are surprisingly clean, especially compared to the rest of The Villages. Also it is within walking distance of the square. They serve breakfast in the morning and its right across from Chili's, but they also sell a few things to eat and drink in the lobby. Just in case you get the midnight munchies!

I liked that we had a familiar face for the worker, the same room we've had before. Was shocked to find a used condom on the floor of the room. Very not ok. Outside of that everything was ok

Positive: The location was perfect for this trip Negative: The carpet in my room (215) had obviously not been vacuumed in several days, and it is borderline filthy to begin with. It is in dire need of replacement.

So cold in FL, all locking mechanism are indoor units placed outside. At 5am took my dogs out.and got locked outta my room. Desk man on duty tried what he could to no avail. Called multiple people, one who was manager named Latisha or something similar. She told him I just had to wait till it warmed up. Meanwhile the high was only supposed to be 20. If not for the creative thinking of the next desk person who came in early tried several avenues to get in my room unsuccessfully. Then she had a brainstorm, she got a bottle of hot water and held it against locking mechanism until it warmed up and opened. The two desk people deserve alot of credit for their compassion , quick thinking and selfless act acts. The manager should be fired.

I have rebooked this hotel repeatedly! Beautiful property and a great complimentary breakfast. Booked through Priceline and got a really great rate. Rooms have always been clean and the balcony is such a great bonus! Super close to so many business and restaurants, seems like it’s right in the heart of that area in the villages. Absolutely recommend!
