SureStay Plus by Best Western Silver City

Pros A surprise discovery is located on the second floor, a beautiful balcony after you send some beautiful beautifully wide stairs that are carpeted and comfortable. Overall, considering the age, everything was clean. Breakfast was fine. Good water pressure in the shower, which was also very clean. Cons Neither the hot tub or the pool was functional, even though they have a huge sign that says stop in for a soak. And no text message when they wanted me to check in letting me know this wasn’t working. Lesson learned to call ahead ! Beds are OK for one night only. Room is small so expect to be on top of each other in the room.

Rooms were so hot even after turning air down to below 70, low water pressure and ice machine on floor was not working. Also no seating other than desk chair. Desk clerk was nice but not overly friendly. Pool was out of commission and we were not alerted to that at time of booking. Were told we could walk over to one at Comfort Inn which is not acceptable. Way overpriced for quality of room and amenities.

The rooms were clean and fairly recently remodeled. The beds were comfortable. The staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. The rooms include a refrigerator and microwave which is nice if you want to eat in. We also enjoyed eating at the Little Toad Creek Brewery which was excellent, the ice cream shop downtown was delicious and old downtown is fun to explore. Would definitely come back.

All around great experience breakfast was decent, breakfast attendant stayed on top of it, making sure items were well stocked and kept food fresh, was very friendly, and the rest of the staff made you feel right at home, front desk was awesome, friendly, and super helpful. I highly recommend staying here. Well done Staff of SureStay.

It's been a couple years since I reviewed it or been there so I thought I would update my rewiew. Its conveniently located off of highway NM180 east in Silver City. I am a Best Western's rewards member and the staff recognized it immediately. It's also about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. The parking is easy and plentiful. The room was clean comfortable, and spacious and had a continental breakfast in the morning it has the usual good stuff of a best western where you make your own waffles and have sausage scrambled egg and fruit things like that I have to say I was very pleased that the attention the staff made to making sure breakfast food was hot plentiful and available. They also suggested a couple of nearby restauran
