SureStay Plus by Best Western Auburn

Probably one of the most coziest hotels I've ever stayed. Very old-fashioned vibe but it doesn't take away from the overall lodging experience. In fact, I think it's a plus with the lodging experience. The rocking chairs on the enclosed patio put the cherry on top for me. Customer service is great and my room was nice amd clean. I'll definitely return if I'm in the area again. Travel Safely!

At first glance you think ehhhh, and the hallways look like the Shinning! But then you open the door to your room and well it's not the Shinning anymore! I fell in love with this hotel. Staff is helpful and very friendly, and the rooms are surprisingly roomy and comfy cozy, and they have breakfast 😋 this has become my go to place to stay.

Mixed bag. Price was right. Property was unique. Room was clean. Stayed two nights. Everything worked. Arrived and front porch was smoke filled and inhabited by a group of drunk and profane men and the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. There was pretty much someone on the porch cussing and drinking the whole stay. Inside the door for two days was someone's clothes and shoes. Bed was hard as a rock and impossible to sleep on. Breakfast was pedestrian at best. In my feedback to the hotel I mentionedthe horrible bed and got a condescending note from a manager telling me that maybe my problem wasn't with the hotel but the maker of the bed. Definitely a pass

I was stunned when I walked into this hotel because it was so charming! It has what seems to be original elements from long ago and the current owners have beautifully retained and restored this elegant look that is so welcoming and homey (especially compared to most hotels today). I wish I would have taken pictures but our stay here was so short and we got in pretty late. Our room was more standard of what you would expect of an affordably priced hotel, but that being said it was still nice and clean and had comfortable beds. Breakfast was also a step up from what most hotels offer, and everything was good. Sausage, biscuits and gravy, eggs, and the classic Belgian waffles, as well as all the cold fare you would expect.
