Baymont by Wyndham Auburn

I travel frequently for my job. This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I have only left a bad hotel review once before, and I am generally understanding of minor issues. This was a nightmare. My initial room did not have heat. When I moved to a second room, the door lock was not working properly and the staff instructed me on how to fix ot on my own rather than helping. After sleeping in the room for one night, I came home and found I was covered in bug bites. As I have not stayed anywhere else in weeks and it is below freezing, I am sure they are from this hotel. I called repeatedly before being able to speak to a manager. They told me they could not refund the money for the stay because "anyone can claim they got bug bites" and hung up on me even though I was calm and polit

Roaches in room, wouldn’t refund just moved us to another room, manager was rude and pretty much said F off. We’re given the option to refund by booking.com but claimed they’re not able to. Don’t waste your time here. Dirty, and breakfast sucks. No sausage or eggs, just nasty biscuits and gravy that tastes like it’s been cooked in an old boot.

Positive: Location and staff. And the bed was super comfortable Negative: My first room had a roach and a handful of ants on the table and the door wouldn?t lock. The second room was better though. Still had a bit of a glitch with the door handle but it locked fine. And no bugs at all in the room.

Stayed there for valentines weekend. First they gave me the wrong room, then they argued with me saying it was supposed to be standard but I paid for king suite. They finally gave me a king suite but it still didnt include the whirlpool tub I paid for. The hot tub by the pool is more like a semi warm bath. If you take steaming hot showers like I do you will not enjoy this. The comforter between the sheets was DISGUSTING. There appeared to be puke on the side of the bed skirt. The bathroom fan was very noisy. No hot water in the bathroom sink, either. The shower was not clean. The breakfast was completely insufficient for the size of the hotel. We went down at 9- a whole hour before breakfast ends- and there was nearly nothing left. Aside from that, it is nicely located, room was decent

I booked a room here on 1/23/26. They offer a hot tub with cold water. I asked the from stage it they could put in hot water, the front staff came in a turnt the water on in the hot tub, the water was overflowing and the filter was clogged. Fast forward, I went to take a shower and there was no hot water, I preceded back down to the front desk asking if someone could come check it or if if I could be moved to another room. The front stage moved me to another room. Again, I went to shower same no hot water. I went back down to the front staff and they canceled my reservation. I have to go to another hotel and spend extra money on a room. I wouldn’t recommend this establishment. Not to mention I over heard the person in the room next to me originally complaining about there room being try. T
