Super 8 Florence OR (Previously Old Town Inn)

I took the bus over from Eugene which is a very nice thing to do when Eugene is a cold 39° and fogged in! The Personnel at Super 8 were very kind in getting me in, shortly after I arrived and found my way up to them from the bus stop in Old Town. It was just beginning to rain lightly after I arrived and it was lovely to settle in and get cozy in this most incredibly beautiful room that I have stayed in, in Florence, outside of Three Rivers Hotel. Sunday in Florence was 55° in the sun! A clear blue sky day with no wind on that December 28th day!! I felt blessed to be able to walk to the little shops and look around and buy a few things and sit on a park bench in the Sun and look out over the bay and see the Heron there amongst the pilings!! It was a treat to get out for Christmas since

Positive: The staff was great and the room was very clean Negative: It was advertised as a casino hotel. It is a mile and a half away from it. It has no air conditioning, so you have to leave a window open and it was a noisy road.

Friendly helpful staff. Basic, clean, location close to grocery and fast food. Room does not have AC, so window open was a must and mattress was too stiff for my liking, but that also means they weren't worn out (silver lining)! I was pleased with our experience overall!

We stayed here for three nights.|Very pleasant motel style accommodation. The refreshed room was clean and freshly painted with new towels and pillows. No pets allowed, which was much appreciated.|No housekeeping but you could ask and collect new towels etc from reception. Coffee and breakfast items were available from reception to eat in your room.|All the staff very friendly and helpful and we would recommend staying here.|It was so lovely being able to saunter into old Florence town to eat at night.

Very nice, clean, and spacious rooms. We had room 118 & 119. The both had king beds. Bathroom for toilet and shower was a very small space. The sink is outside of bathroom. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We will be back for sure!
