Super 8

My parents take frequent weekend trips to Edenton and mostly stay at this hotel. On their last trip, they were treated HARSHLY by the general manager, Yevette Riddick, over a double booking from a internet site. My parents are elderly and technology immigrants, but by no means unintelligent or incompetent and made an honest mistake. They realized that they would have to pay a penalty for the double booking, yet Yevette decided to handle the situation by never coming to the counter, yelling through a door and relaying messages by a noticeably embarrassed employee. Her intention was clearly not to resolve the issue, but to go out of her way to belittle my mother. Yevette Riddick has ensured that no one from my family will ever stay at this or any other Super 8 in the future.

Off season, was like 4 people renting rooms, they stuck us all on one end of motel. okay that makes it easy for staff to clean, wait for it..... room looked like it was never cleaned. also the walls are so thin that you can hear the guy in the next room farting. and no smoking means, only if you get caught. we were going to stay for 2 nights but we moved across the street to the other motel the next day. i would recommend this motel to homeless people and hookers
