Hampton Inn Edenton

Pros: Nice property and overall in good condition as well as clean. Friendly staff. No traffic noise from the nearby highway which was great. Microwave and Fridge keeps this from being a one star review. The hot water is actually HOT for showers which gets another star. Cleanliness in the rooms and throughout the hotel. Breakfast was good and the lovely elderly lady serving breakfast is an angel. Cons: Dated tub/shower combo. Fitness center is closed. That’s minus 2 stars. I was going to VRBO for my stay but instead choose the hotel for the fitness center. For 4 days I’ve tried to access the laundry facility and the key pad is apparently broken. Every day I’ve inquired at the desk about the laundromat being inaccessible and everyday was told someone would check into it. There is a door in

Our stay at the Hampton Inn in Edenton went very well. The room was large enough to accommodate my wheelchair, I got the roll-in shower I requested, and the bed was comfortable. Also, this hotel provides free breakfast with many choices of food that is well prepared. I'm planning a return trip in November.

Everything was as it should have been. For them to be going through renovator did not effect me at all. They also welcomed my fur babies.

Hotel was quiet and comfortable although in need of some upgrades and replacements of the shower/tubs. Staff wasn’t rude but really need to be more friendly and informative. Upon my arrival the desk clerk offered no information as to the hotel such as the location of elevators, fitness center, ice or vending, breakfast or any other information. I was not recognized as a Hilton Diamond Status member and not a word during checkout as to my stay or even a thank you come stay again

This is a deplorable location and an insult to the brand. I was greeted this evening by a woman at the front desk who decided to start cursing before any real conversation. Informed me the nobody knows when the room will be ready and said it could be after 5. The one who came in behind her at 3pm wouldn't even ask me my name to check my reservation to see if a room was ready. This is unprofessional and I cannot recommend people to stay away from this location. For $200 per night, you all can find better accommodations. If this is how management wants their employees to treat their members, so be it and take your business elsewhere. CANNOT RECOMMEND ANOTHER LOCATION MORE!
