Super 8 by Wyndham Tucson/East/D.M.A.F. Area

During my stay there were bed bugs, a drug raid and two people died on separate occasions. This was how the mattress looked when we got the room.

The motel was acceptable two years ago, and has greatly improved since then. It looks like they have refinished the bathtubs (2 years ago there were discolored patches in mine) and they have gotten new bedspreads. It's a high 2 star place now in my opinion. Breakfast is pretty good with apple and orange juices, waffles, bread, cereal, and apples when I was there. They may have been instant oatmeal too, I can't remember. The check in people were nice. I look forward to coming again next year. Is it somewhere I'd stay with kids? probably not, I think I'd go with a less urban area, but I think it's safe enough for adults and definitely meets my clean and comfortable requirements. It is far better than the Days Inn in Tempe, which I stayed at also this trip and would not stay at again

We stay here very often , we are used to nicer hotels however. They accommodate you as much as they can. We love coming here and have even met other families and couples who travel who stay here as well. It's our go to in Tucson for many reasons. We love the staff, our favorite is the hotel manager and one of the lady staff with the long blonde curly hair. Second they make you feel welcomed and are super friendly. We love that they keep the outside on the outside and are somewhat strict about who comes on the property. My children are known by name and are very safe to play outside at the property. We have never had a dirty room or sticky floors, we've never seen roaches , rats or any sort of other creepy crawlers. We enjoy the rooms with Roku cause the cable TV kinda sucks, we enjoy the r

This location has the most amazing staff. They do everything they can to ensure you're happy. Why stay anywhere else? This is the place to be!!

Disliked · My reservation was for double room and check in at 2:00pm. When we got there she stated there was only a king available. When I tried to cancel she decided to have a room cleaned for us and we would have to wait. We went to eat and came back and the room was in disgusting condition. I didn't want to have to argue, or find another room so I just took pictures and took a nap. When we woke up we tried to get ready to go to the event we were in town for and couldn't figure out how to turn on the shower. I sat down on the bed and the corner fell into the frame. I got ready to go and called the front desk and asked for the bed to be fixed. The woman told me I should have reported the broken bed when I checked in and started yelling at me.
