Super 8 by Wyndham Thurmont

The room was clean, the staff friendly and helpful. The place is older but nice, if you can’t walk up stairs ask for main floor because no elevator. Would stay again.

Saw three roaches. Leave your bags in the car for precaution. Only stayed one night to have somewhere to rest my head. Would not book again. Location is cool, rooms are decent, but the bugs gotta go. There was two in the bathroom and one of the curtain.

Great location and a decent hotel & prices. We stayed here for our son's traveling soccer tournament and the rooms are nice and lots of room. It is pet friendly and very quiet and in a very nice location. Only thing I can complain about is the free breakfast, do not plan on grabbing breakfast at the hotel, they didn't even have any coffee nor did the staff even try to refill it & this was at 730 am. No milk for the cereal at least we didn't find any. So just plan on grabbing breakfast somewhere. And the air conditioner in our room , the knobs where broken so we had to figure out the magic touch to get it working. But other than those two things, we enjoyed our stay here. I just wish I knew about the breakfast ordeal.

I wasn't sure what to expect but it was a place to get some sleep. The bed was a king size bed but was not comfortable and bowed towards the middle. The room above me was noisy the first night, sounded like they were walking back and forth all night and dragging stuff across the floor. I had to put on a noisemaker to drown it out to sleep.||The room was adequate but dated and the attention to detail was not there for upkeep and cleaning. It did what it had to, a place to rest my head at night but was not stellar.||As others have mentioned, the free breakfast is non existent and everytime I went to see someone at the desk there was nobody there and a sign out to call if assistance was needed. ||I wouldn't stay again, it was cheap and convenient, but not on my list to return to.
