Super 8 by Wyndham Pigeon Forge Dollywood Lane

We stayed here during our stay this past weekend and it is a great place to stay. The location is good as well. It is a little bit off the parkway so it's quiet and was very clean. Our room appeared newly renovated and the front desk staff was very nice. The beds are comfortable and the pillows were nice (for us) I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a clean place to stay in a good location. Housekeeping will knock on your door around 9 A.M. to bring you towels during your stay which is also a plus. They have breakfast downstairs from 6 to 11 A.M. and a complimentary coffee bar that is open all night.

I booked this hotel through Hotels.com and unfortunately had a very bad stay. While the location is very good and close to everything, that was about the only positive. The parking lot is strange and felt unsafe, and throughout the night there were individuals running up and down the outside hallways, banging on doors, and making loud noises, which made it very difficult to sleep. The room itself was not clean. The towels had what looked like feces stains, which was extremely disturbing. The room smelled musty, and the refrigerator did not cool items at all. The bed was rock hard, and the pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. Because of these issues, I checked out early. I contacted Hotels.com, but no refund, credits, or compensation were provided because the Super 8 manager denied the

Excellent accommodations for the price. Dog friendly with only a $15 fee per night for our boy. Immaculately clean facility & room. Generous complimentary breakfast buffet. Cordial, helpful staff. Great location off the path and a very quiet stay. Grateful for the elevator option as we were on the 3rd floor. We stayed here once before and had the same experience. Our son lives here so this will be where we will stay every time.

Overall room was good. Lighting could be better. No numbered temp gage on the heat/ac unit so it was a little difficult to get adjusted. Staff was great. Breakfast was great. Would stay here again.

If I could give it a 10, I would without hesitation. The staff is lovely and responds quickly to your concerns. The breakfast is very good and offers a good variety. The rooms have everything you need and are very clean. Everything you could want is nearby, and it's super close to all the places you want to visit. I will definitely return to this hotel on my next vacation.
