Super 8 by Wyndham Orlando Near Florida Mall

The Super 8 was worst hotel stay of my life. The people running this place are horrible. I understand this is an inexpensive hotel, so not to expect much. We didn't care. We chose this hotel since we were checking in late and checking out at 3am for an early flight. Neil, The clerk who checked us in didn't give me back my drivers license when I checked in. Neil also didn't tell me he didn't give me back the license. He just let me go to the airport without it. This caused me so many problems at the Airport. I had to pay the TSA a $45.00 since I didn't have my drivers license to fly. I also understand I didn't ask for it back. But here's where it gets awesome. I called Neil and asked for them to send back. After several calls, Neil told me he can't send out my license it in the mail becaus

Positive: The front desk clerk tried her best to accommodate me , but I declined and went to another hotel chain. She was very helpful and nice. Negative: The outside celings of the hotel were falling apart , the pictures on the website were very misleading .

The hotel location is great! It’s near the mall and bus stop. But the sink was stuck and no plug for the bathtub also the faucet is not working properly. Too close by the Main Street. Too loud!

The floors were so dirty in both rooms we booked. Some towels were stained. The double lock hinge was missing in one of our rooms. The bed covers were coming off. The tap knob kept coming off. The flush lever was extremely loose, there were flickering lights at the end of the hallway. There were guests with kids still running and shouting/playing at 2 am, and when we opened our door to ask them to keep it down the parents were also outside smoking without a care about their kids disrupting other guests' sleep. Breakfast was just toast and cereals and we had to ask for milk several times because their tiny thermo bottle was always empty. Getting into and out of the hotel was horrible. One could easily miss the turn to to the hotel and coming out, it's better off making a u-turn than to hope

Would not recommend at all. If you are taking this place to save some money, I would strongly suggest to invest a bit more to get something better. 1.Floor was the dirtiest i have ever seen in a motel. Our feet were all black after walking only 5 minutes without socks in the room. 2. There was a huge water leak coming from the shower above our room. Each time they would take a shower, our room would get soaked by water. Floor is of course damaged because of that. Went to get assistance on that matter, they told me they could not do anything and to close the lights to avoid an electrical problem. 3.
