Super 8 by Wyndham Medina

Super 8 by Wyndham is not the Super 8 I remember from years ago. I had a nice quiet room including microwave and mini fridge. There was also breakfast, I can't really attest to the variety, as I was in a hurry and just dashed in to get some fruit. I did see various breads,a waffle maker, and possibly cereal? There are also added options for early check in and late check out. It's handicap accessible, and there seems to be adequate parking. No individual room doors on the outside. I kind of wish I could have stayed longer.

This Super 8 is conveniently located right off the interstate. It's an older building, but it was clean and well maintained. The fall flowers and pumpkins outside the entrance were pretty! I stayed for one night in order to attend a gathering in the area. My room had one king-sized bed that was very comfortable. Fixtures in the bathroom looked older but again, were very clean. I couldn't find the guide on the television, but that's probably just my own lack of tech skills. My room did have a vague unpleasant odor, like... people... but I don't know where it was because it had hard-surface flooring (no carpet to hold odors) and the bed was definitely clean. The breakfast area is small with limited selections, but sufficient for me to get my day started. My biggest problem was people SLAMMI

Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean which was a big plus. There was a refrigerator, microwave and small coffepot which came in very handy. Also, they have a continental breakfast which makes it great to just get something quick and get back on the road. I was very pleased with our stay.

Meh at best. Reviews had me expecting more. Information about the dea watching the location would be a nice (had no idea was just genuinely weird at first. See pics.) blood on bathroom wall, ac/heater unit was LOUD like something was suck in the blower fan. WiFi wouldn’t work had to stream the tv off my phone. For the price yeah but they could do better. Way better:

Check in host (owners son) was very friendly, informative and accommodating. Parking was easy, prices was better than I was getting on Hotels.com, beds were nice, plenty of pillows. TV was definitely limited on channels and also the Smart TV feature that allows you to use your own subscriptions (Netflix, Youtube TV, etc.) wasn't working. BUT Tv was decent. $69 including tax.
