Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Medina

The hotel was in a nice and convenient spot. It was also very modern and clean. We did not have any complaints during our stay. The staff was very friendly and attentive to all. There is one staff member that stiff out to us and that was Allie. We were talking Saturday about how appreciative we were for the breakfast meat option due to dietary restrictions. She remembered us and when we came down Sunday she asked if we would like some turkey sausage. She didn’t have to try to accommodate us, but she did and made sure that we were taken care of. We are already working on our next trip due to our satisfaction and the service that we received. Thank you to the staff at Fairfield in Medina

It was ok. Needs some updating. nearly tripped 3 times while I was there due to the floor being uneven. Their fruity water had a bug floating inside of it. Gross.

We stayed from Friday to Sunday. The front desk and the ones prepping breakfast were great. Customer service was great. Ally is the one that we had the most interaction with. She was very professional, polite, interactive and attentive, not only to us but all the guests. My sister had discussed with her our dietary restrictions. She went to my sister the last day of our stay and asked if we would like to have the turkey sausage instead of the pork. That meant a lot that she remembered and did this for us. Overall, breakfast was great both days. Our rooms and beds were clean and in good condition. We plan to make another reservation for an upcoming trip. This was a good, safe and convenient location.

This was not a great experience. We arrived at the hotel around 10 pm to find no one at the front desk. We waited about 5 minutes, looking around for someone and calling out. Then we called the hotel’s direct phone number, but it went unanswered. Finally, a young man came ambling down the hall into the lobby, dressed in jeans, a hoodie and a ski cap. He checked us in, but he was mumbling and we could hardly understand him. He couldn’t have cared less that we were there, nor that we had been looking for him for quite a while. The hallways and the elevators were dirty – looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. Our room was reasonably clean, except for the shower. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast included hot items which was nice. If you plan on using the pool in the winter call ahead to see if the heater has been turned, as of December 17th the "pool guy" hadn't made it out to turn the heat on yet. Bring block chargers as there are no USB ports in the rooms. Overall it met our needs and worth the price.
