Super 8 by Wyndham Lexington Park/California Area

Was planning on a stay for my daughter's wedding. Once iI entered the room I noticed a smell. I looked around & found dead bed bugs on the floor & live little ones around the edge of the mattress. I knew then I couldn't stay. Not taking those pesky critters home. Did investigate the smell further. One corner smelled of cat urine but I never found the horrible stench. I asked for a full refund. It took 11 days and many, many phone calls but I finally got my money back. Whatever you do don't stay there. The smell of cigarettes is disgusting. Add the smell of pet urine & whatever else that terrible smell was, it will run you out. Now add bed bugs & I can't see any reason to ever stay there.

If you are looking for an affordable place to spend the night and are not overly worried about a massive number of pillows (you do get three), an in room coffee maker or a spacious breakfast beyond the necessities (coffee, juice, cereal, bread and applies/bananas), this may be the place for you.|The Good:|- In reasonably good repair (definitely been to worse).|- Appeared to be relatively clean.|- Appeared to be safe.|- No bed bugs that I could find.|- Inexpensive.|- Lots of hot water.|- Centrally located in California, Maryland.|The Not-So-Good:|- Pretty low budget, even for Super 8.|- Pretty sparse breakfast (if that is a deal breaker for you, some people have gotten pretty spoiled).|- Appeared to be a party spot because of the lower rates, but it did not disturb us.|- Some unfinished wal

From the moment I checked in, they went above and beyond to ensure that my family and I felt welcomed and taken care of. Not only were they efficient and professional, but they also showed a level of care and understanding that is rare to find. It was ok, front desk got mad because I asked for help. Overnight staff is okay as well, took 3 hours for something that could have took 2 minutes . They had nothing to eat really for breakfast, roaches in the room, bed feels like cardboard. I wouldn’t recommend. Prices so high and the place is ran down. Lobby area hot everywhere is hot in the hotel

I cannot speak highly enough of the men who've worked the front desk at this motel. They have been a godsend during a very difficult time for my family. After having to abruptly leave our home due to safety concerns, we have been staying at this motel for the last few months. The front desk staff has been incredibly understanding, kind, and helpful to us and our two young children. Despite what appears to be significant changes to the motel's policies, they have gone above and beyond to ensure our stay is as comfortable as possible. Their dedication to their job and the guests is truly commendable. We are grateful for their support during this challenging time. Thank you for your exceptional service.
