Super 8 by Wyndham Lake Charles/Sulphur

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The area was very quiet. The only issues we have with our stay are the room smelled like marijuana as soon as we entered the room and the comforter had something dry and crusty on it, so we removed it from the bed. Also, the carpet was very stained in a few areas. Otherwise, a good stay.

Good place for just a night. Right off the highway. Rooms were clean. Staff not the friendliest. There is no breakfast. Your best bet is the McDonald’s about 3 minutes away or the IHOP which is 5 minutes the opposite direction. For what they offer it’s overpriced.

The staff was friendly, the motel is in a good spot, close to our venue, for our family reunion and close to shopping centers. The rooms were clean and newly renovated. The service was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

I just want to say how grateful I am for this hotel and their staff! The owners I believe are the ones who did this for my Dad. He was displaced after his place of employment recently exploded in Roseland Louisiana and was in his work truck staying here. He went to the front desk and asked where as the nearest place to eat as he was in a big truck. And they gave my Dad the info but not only that they stopped what they were doing and took my Daddy to get something to eat! They went very much out of their way and for that I’m grateful! So Thank You So Much!!!! We need more kindness in this world like you guys portrayed!

It was a very old motel slightly remodeled with just paint. Had bugs. Had a new name called The Howard Johnson which is nothing like the luxury name hotel. Was just a cheap place to stay the night.
