Super 8 by Wyndham Hannibal

The Super 8 in Hannibal, MO is 2 thumbs up my favorite so far in my cross country travels! The only reason I did not give them 5 stars was b/c I heard the traffic all night long! It's very close to the busy highway. I would have enjoyed a room on the opposite side of the hotel, away from the busy highway! But I did not have a reservation as I had hoped to get a bit further down the road that night & was given a fabulous room! It was beautiful! So, maybe 4.5 stars?

The over night woman is the best she is super helpful and kind and just totally amazing!! Always on top of her job and very quick with checking me in. I really can't say enough kind things about her honestly!! Business need more people like the ones working the super 8 and things would be so much more successful!! The new manager is so helpful and doing a great job with the place!!! Very accommodating quick check in no problems!!

Positive: The location is the only thing that it had going for the hotel. Negative: The staff was rude. The cleanliness of the room was poor. Tub had mold stains. Room had bad odors. They closed the pool before 9pm with no sign indicating pool times. Do not recommend.

Harry at front desk was incredibly kind and accommodating. The staff is to be respected here for their gracious hosting. May the Lord bless you all! Thank you

I don’t like to give bad reviews because I understand people are struggling but you can still clean. We had to ask for a different room because the first one was dirty. Turns out so was the second one. I ended up bringing my own bedding inside to use. The door frame was broken at the top letting light in. The smell was awful, think old dog urine. The bathroom sink had hair around the edge. There was one paper cup for everyone in the room to share. No coffee machine or even an ice bucket. Breakfast was a waffle or a bowl of cereal ( skip the cereal because the milk was sour). There was one opened pat of butter. In other words, just sleep in your car if you have no other option for a place to stay
