Super 8 by Wyndham Fairmont

I can say, over the last 4 years, they have cleaned this hotel up. I was too the point of never staying here again, but i gave it one last chance before finalizing that decision and I was surprised. The have fixed things and changed the staff. People rate and give reviews based on the structure of the place, but the staff is what make the hotel. With a excellent staff, your will sleep and relax no matter what the room or property looks like verses, the property and rooms being excellent with bad staff, cause you will not get rest as the mood would keep you restless. The staff treats you like your part of their family and make you know that your their main concern. My husband already left a review but I want to give my prospective. First of all I really loved this hotel so much. After my most recent stay, since I stay frequently about once a month for my family I was charged 80$ the next day after I left. The people here are usually so nice I was confused and thought I genuinely did something wrong and didn't notice, so I called the hotel and asked what the charge was for. I was told after just giving my name, no other information, that I stole all the bathroom linens; I was shocked and was just like what?? Then the repeated it angrily that I stole everything. I was like no no I gave it to the housekeeper in the hallway a day or two prior because we had a lot and they lady on the phone rudely just said that's not possible. How is it not possible the

The staff at this hotel are very professional, polite and courteous. I feel comfortable staying at this hotel. The rooms are very nice including the mini-refrigerator, microwave. Plus, onsite washer/dryer is a nice convenience. Super 8 by Wyndham in Fairmont, WV has been a blessing in disguise when I needed it the most for my business travels.

Very clean lobby and friendly staff. Room was neat and tidy. Bathroom was sparkling. Bed was comfortable with 4 pillows for the king bed. There was a mini fridge and microwave no coffee maker or closet. Breakfast room was limited seating. Three small tables with three chairs. There were three upholstered chairs with side tables. |Offerings were “waffle bar”. Two waffle makers and various toppings. Juices and coffee were available. Granola bars were also available. No decaf coffee.

Positive: Very clean. Great breakfast. Netflix. Good channels, Nice TV, Comfy bed. Very friendly staff Negative: Ice machine ran out of ice.
