Quality Inn Fairmont

Good hotel overall (6.8/10). Stayed 1 night in April. Spacious room. Good bed. Shower is good, with decent water pressure, though it takes a long time for the water to get hot. Towels were good, smelled nice too. TV was good, lots of channels. AC struggled to cool the room down even though it hadn't been a hot day. Breakfast was good (for context, I'm satisfied with a bowl of cereal or some toast), and in a good size room. The guy on the front desk attempted to recharge a prepaid booking, telling me I hadn't paid. After a bit of back and forth, he realised his mistake. Location is convenient with a diner right next door. I would consider staying again, as despite the issues for the price paid ($50 total) it was very good value.

The room was clean and well stocked. The staff were friendly. But breakfast was not up to the usual expectation at this location. We have stayed at this location many times and when we come down for breakfast there was minimal food. 2 sausages, 2 egg patties and only one flavor of waffle mix (chocolate). We were told that was all she is putting out, it wasn't even 8:30. We enjoyed what was there. The coffee was fresh and hot.

I used one of those discount sites to get my room, no problem. I called them to make sure someone would be at the desk when I got there at 11:00 PM and was told that they didn't have any king size beds available; would a double be alright and I said yes. Check-in was no problem and fast. There was coffee available in the lobby and it was good. I got in my room and it was good with the two beds. There was WiFi, cable, coffee and an iron and board. The bed was good and the HVAC worked well. I got my 5:15 wake-up. The had breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles with other continental fare. It was a good stay .

BEWARE!!! READ the bad reviews that are bad. The owner refused to be a real owner and address any issue rather than “pawn” it off on his staff. The bad reviews are TRUE! We had a 2 night stay and one of our rooms flooded from the next room. If you read reviews ongoing water leaks have been prevalent for months as to why dehumidifiers are in the room. A room that doesn’t have moisture DOESN’T need a dehumidifier. One of our rooms were completely flooded to where when you step into the carpet a puddle of water surrounded your feet all over. The kids backpacks, their books, their clothes all were wet and saturated and damage was done to the books. ALL caught on CAMERA and video! The staff came and were overwhelmed at all the water! We had to switch rooms again because the first time we foun

The hotel was very dated. I had a dog with me so I stayed in a pet room. The first room I was given smelled horrible. The (really sweet and amazing) front desk clerk quickly changed my room, thank goodness, and the new room was better, but not great. I couldn't get the room temp regulated well. My room was located at the end of the hall with two exit doors to the outside that were never locked, so that didn't feel very safe.
