Customer Reviews
We stayed here for a week and had a great experience. The hotel is a bit dated, but it was clean and well kept. The staff were very friendly amd helpful. Rooms were clean, quiet, with a really comfortable bed. The pool and hot tub were great. Our only mild complaint is the lack of options with breakfast. Shout out to Shannon, the manager. She always had a smile and a warm greeting!
Positive: It was a very quiet hotel; staff was very nice. Negative: Not a big deal but there were 2 big stains on the carpet, other than that the room was very clean.
I chose this hotel for my 82-year-old Dad and I because it was quieter than downtown and my Dad could enjoy smoking his pipe on the outdoor deck overlooking the stream. The staff were great - very chatty and friendly, including the lady who ran the casino. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel has a slightly odd layout - the entrances and front desk are between floors so you have short flight of steps either up or down to get to your room (like a double-decker train) and to get to breakfast on the right by the deck (or to the casino ahead which has the pizzeria) you need to walk past the pool. The pool itself was a little cool but the hot tub was pretty hot and very relaxing.||Breakfast was excellent, especially the freshly baked cinnamon rolls. The trolley (bus) stop is outside
Katie was very helpful and went out of her way to ensure we knew how to get around in Deadwood. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. I was very pleased with her excellent customer service skills and would recommend staying here. :) 😃
Daniel at the front desk truly went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. From check-in to check-out, Daniel was consistently courteous, knowledgeable, and accommodating, answering all our questions and addressing every need with ease. His dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction was evident in every interaction. I highly recommend this hotel, largely thanks to exceptional staff like Daniel.
