Super 8 by Wyndham Corsicana

What a clean, fresh room! Driving around to our room, the area looked a bit iffy. But what a welcome surprise lay in store for us. Good linens and towels; the washcloths were even folded into fans and tucked into the hand towels. Comfortable bed; we could have used one more pillow each but we did fine. Breakfast was a light one of grab and go foods but that was OK with us.

A friend and I spent our third and fourth nights on our trip here in this hotel. The check in process was easy enough. Employees were friendly, and the outside of the building seemed to be in good shape. The room was nice; it was fairly clean. The air conditioning worked, but there was an issue with the toilet seat. I did inform the manager as I left. The beds were comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Overall, it was a decent stay.

Positive: Location near freeway Negative: Didn't even stay there. There was ,what appeared to be, several low caliber bullet sized dents/holes in door, room reeked of marijuana. I am pretty sure the ladies outside were prostituting. The guy at the front desk said he didn't know how to refund

What a pleasant surprise. The area is a small bit rundown. My room? BRILLIANT! My Room was clean. Plenty of hot water. An extremely comfortable bed. Even the pillows were comfortable. I would stay at this Super 8 motel again and again. As a lady “of a certain age“ security is a big deal for me. It was very quiet and I felt safe. The front staff was attentive and very helpful. It was a very pleasant experience.

Recently I spent one night here. I was pleasantly surprised! The man at reception was friendly and courteous. The room was updated and clean, with a comfortable bed. I didn't get up for breakfast so I don't know how it was. I would recommend staying here if in the area.
