Motel 6 Corsicana, TX

Staff was friendly, room was clean and good value for dollar. There was some floor damage from water previously, the like wood floor was sticky in places and squeaky, no hair dryer, and not enough parking for the number of rooms. Parking at night was a nightmare. However, the price was fair and all of the equipment worked. Great hot water and water pressure, beds were comfortable, AC/heat worked great and was not outdated as many hotels of this price range seem to be, sheets were good quality, pillows very comfortable, and TV/satellite had no problems or poor signal. Also, had several movie channels. We noticed there were several extended stay “residents”, and they had their way of doing things and places they park etc. pool was indoor and looked very clean, but it was very cold outside an

We got caught in a snow storm of all things and needed to get off the highway. Luckily this motel had 2 downstairs rooms next to each other to accommodate us. Both rooms were surprisingly clean. I mean VERY clean. The bathroom was freshly dapped and looked spic and span. My room had a newer model A/C unit with a 'fan on' feature that I loved! It really helped drown out the outside noises. This isn't the fault of the Motel management but it seems the guests who were in the rooms near us liked to stay up late and talk loudly and the parking lot stayed busy all night.. The walls are paper thin. The decor is your standard Motel 6 look. I would stay here again if I needed a spot in the area. Also just a note that it's a trick to get back on the highway going Northbound..

Room was nice and clean but the beds are horrible. I stayed here a year ago and had forgotten how bad a time I had sleeping. It hasn't changed. When I asked for a better bed in a different room they told me I could have a couple blankets. Will never be back.

Exactly what a Motel Six room should be… Very clean, very basic. There is some highway noise and breakfast is not included. They do have complementary coffee in the lobby. Would stay here again.

The outside is clean, but a little run down. You will be pleasantly surprised when you enter the room. The room we were in is huge and very clean. You can tell that the housekeeping staff take pride in what they do.
