Super 8 by Wyndham Clearwater/St. Petersburg Airport

Melissa at the front desk was very accommodating and sweet. All the staff were great. The first room we stayed in on the third floor was very nice king room the second night stay was an older room. Room was not quite as clean old carpet, broken lamps, etc. Overall, what you can expect from a cheaper room $60 a night if you’re a Rewards member

Positive: Nothing!!! Negative: Everything. Roaches in the rooms. No towels in rooms. The smell of weed in the halls and lobby. The front desk clerk was hanging with her man smoking weed in the lobby and out front. Was told there was a kitchen and there was not. Also no microwave.

The bed was super soft and the pillows were quaint! Great value with plenty of things to do. If you're looking for the best bang for your buck, look no further to Super 8. Do it for the bed, do it for you! And being a member is a plus. ||||The hotel exceeded expectations—immaculate rooms, friendly staff, and a perfect central location. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast spread was diverse and fresh. Check-in was smooth, and amenities like Wi-Fi and parking were hassle-free. Ideal for both business and leisure. Would definitely return for another stay.

I had a wonderful stay in a very clean King room with five pillows, a nice size TV, great air conditioning unit and large nicely appointed handicapped bathroom with chair provided. I did notice there were not any bath towels in the bathroom but I did not plan on taking a shower due to my mobility and travel arrangements but I'm sure all I had to do was ask the very friendly front desk. I'm a Hilton Honors member and a Marriott bonvoy member and am quite picky with hotels. Please do not believe the negative reviews, I had a lovely stay and would recommend to anyone I know!!!!!!! THANK YOU for a nice peaceful room at a GREAT PRICE!!!!

There is a $50 security deposit. The elevator didn't work. And the front desk put us on the 3rd floor because that's the least infected floor. Soon as we walked in, we were greeted by 2 cockroaches. Front desk said the whole place is like that. Seen one on the 1st floor wall as we were walking out. Wouldn't recommend at all. Shouldn't even be open to the public!
